Ferdinand is a large, slow steam engine. One of Misty Island's "Logging Locos," his whistle can create a booming sound. He's bigger than the other logging locomotives, Bash and Dash.

After Thomas saves Diesel, he is rewarded for his daring rescue with a visit to the mainland. During his trip across the sea, Thomas' raft becomes separated from the ship and he ends up on the mysterious Misty Island.

Inspired by the "Misty Island Rescue" DVD, this set features a number of terrific features like the exclusive new Pulley Bridge - turn the handle to transport engines across the bridge. Load and unload at the Logging Station. But go carefully over and through the creaky Log Tunnel - engines activate tumbling log sounds as they pass!

Exclusive Pulley Bridge: Little engineers turn the handle to operate the pully bridge and transport engines from one end to the other
