|THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE - Y4083|
Thomas the Tank Engine is a cheeky, fussy little engine, often getting into scrapes, usually by being overeager to do things best left to bigger and more sensible engines.
|PERCY - Y4082|
Percy is the junior member of the principal team of engines. This little chap is normally quite happy puffing around the yard. He's always keen to oblige, a fact of which the other engines are apt to take advantage.

Toby is an engine who is always happy to work, although sometimes he can be a bit temperamental.
|IRON 'ARRY AND IRON BERT - Y7464|
Iron 'Arry and his twin Iron Bert, are Diesels that work in the Scrap Yards and Smelters Shed and they think they are far superior to steam engines and tease them whenever they can.
Bash is a logging locomotive from Misty Island.
Belle is a big brave blue engine. She has two water cannons high on her boiler from which she shoots water (in the stories) to fight fires. Belle would be overwhelming if she wasn't so nice, even Cranky likes her! She wants to do her best and be the best. Belle realises that she isn't the fire engine Sodor needs and supports Flynn in every way. In fact, when Flynn makes mistakes...it's Belle who is always there to help him out.
Bertram is an old tender engine who worked on a quarry on the far side on the Island of Sodor. He is known as the 'Old Warrior' because of his bravery. Toby found him whilst watching over the old mine, and has since then befriended him. He now works at the restored mines, taking passengers and children to the fairground within.

Caitlin first appears in the upcoming movie "King of The Railway". Caitlin is a streamlined engine from the Mainland designed for speed. She loves to challenge the other engines to a race and has a tendency to get a little-overexcited. She, along with Connor, regularly transport passengers from the Mainland to Ulfstead Castle.
|CHARLIE - Y4402|
Charlie is a little purple engine with gold trim and red wheels. He wears the number 14 proudly. Charlie is always up for an adventure; while he is small engine, he likes to have a lot of fun and cause mischief.
|CONNOR - Y5492|
Connor first appears in the upcoming movie "King of The Railway". Connor is a streamlined engine from the Mainland, designed for speed. He is excitable and energetic and like Caitlin, loves to race the other engines. Connor however, is better able to be patient than Caitlin. He, along with Caitlin, regularly transport passengers from the Mainland to Ulfstead Castle.
D199 is a blue diesel with a bright yellow face. He believes that all important jobs should be left to diesels, and steam engines are only good for parts.
Dart is Den's fast and feisty assistant at the Sodor Dieselworks. Dart has worked with Den for so long he can read Den's mind. Dart will quickly explain what Den is trying to say. No other diesels know how to fix an engine as quickly or as capably. However, Dart is rather clumsy, always bumping into things!
Dash is a logging locomotive from Misty Island.
Den is a diesel who runs the Dieselworks...when Diesel 10 is not around. He is very thoughtful and thinks hard before he speaks. When Den does speak, it is very slowly. This gives the appearance that he may be a little slow, but nothing could be further from the truth. Engines can wait a long time for Den to give his insight, but it is worth the wait!
|DEREK THE DIESEL|
Derek the Diesel looks the part, but he sadly suffers a lot from overheating and various other teething troubles. Engine compartment slides open to reveal his temperamental diesel engine.
Devious Diesel believes that steamies are no match for diesels.
|DIESEL 10 - Y4076|
Diesel 10 is a renegade diesel engine on the Island of Sodor who is 10 out of 10 for brutal strength and devious deeds and out to destroy the harmony of Sir Topham Hatt's Railway.
The oldest and most experienced of the Island 's engines, Duke (whose nickname is "Granpuff") enjoys teaching others the proper way to do things. He is gentle, but maintains his authority at all times. Duke was lost when when a landslide buried his shed. His story lived on, told by his engine friends, and one day he was found again.
A plain-speaking engine, Duncan keeps busy and means well. Often bouncy and occasionally rude, Duncan is famous for singing, swaying, and swiveling around. His driver calls it Rock and Roll.

Edward is an older engine and extremely kind: kind to small engines who get into difficulties; kind to big engines when they're rude or impatient; kind to trucks and coaches which he almost never bumps.
|TALKING EMILY - Y4407|
Emily is a beautiful engine with shiny paintwork and gleaming brass fittings. After she rescued Oliver and Toad when they were stuck on the tracks, Sir Topham Hatt rewarded her with a brand-new pair of coaches.

|FEARLESS FREDDIE - Y4401|
Fearless Freddie is the warhorse engine of the Narrow Gauge railway. A handsome engine with a big brass dome he was, in his youth, the daredevil of the hills. He used to be the fastest engine on the railway but now uses guile (and a secret short cut!) to maintain his reputation in races.
|FERDINAND - Y4380|
Ferdinand is a large, slow steam engine. One of Misty Island's "Logging Locos," his whistle can create a booming sound. He's bigger than the other logging locomotives, Bash and Dash.
|FLORA AND TRAM|
Flora is the colourful steam tram on Sodor and Tram, her tram car, is her pride and joy. She's proud to be able to travel on roads or tracks. She's very happy to be one of the Sodor engines and delighted to be working with Toby.
|FLYING SCOTSMAN - Y6784|
The Flying Scotsman was a special visitor on Sodor. He has two tenders because, on his railway, coal and water are not as available as they are on Sir Topham Hatt's Railway.
|GORDON - Y4073|
Gordon is the senior member of the engine family, the fastest and most powerful engine on the rails. He's extremely proud and inclined to boast. He's good-hearted and always willing to use his superior strength.
Hank is an All-American Steam Engine. He has the enthusiasm of a cheerleader, the strength of a titan, and the chiselled good looks of a Hollywood star.

Henry is a long, fast engine with a streamlined look, which tends to make him somewhat high-strung and prone to illness!

Hiro is an old 'Japanese' engine. He was the first engine to arrive on Sodor, but was left forgotten. He is old, wise, very dignified and enormously kind.

James is a medium-sized engine. He likes to think of himself as a really splendid engine. This can occasionally lead to grandiose ideas about the sort of work suitable for such a noble creature, which invariably lands James in trouble.

Luke is a small engine, even for the Narrow Gauge Railway. He has an unquenchable enthusiasm for both his work and his fellow engines. Luke can connect to other Wooden Railway engines and vehicles with magnet connectors. Perfect for Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway train sets!

Millie is a youthful, fun-loving, narrow gauge engine who runs on the Earl of Sodor's Estate Railway which includes Ulfstead Castle. She belongs to Sir Robert Norramby and will be introduced in the 2013 movie "King of the Railway". Millie can connect to other Wooden Railway engines and vehicles with magnet connectors. Perfect for Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway train sets!
Molly is a large, powerful and bright yellow engine. She's proud of her strength, and is also sensitive. She wants the other engines to think the best of her, and steams away from any conflict. Molly is distinct in her colour and styling from any other engine on Sodor.
Unfortunately for Neville, he is a steam engine who looks like a diesel. Enthusiastic, friendly and wanting to be part of the team - he's an all round good egg.

Paxton is one of 3 new diesel engines introduced in the "Day of the Diesels" movie.
Proteus was a very old engine from the hills of Sodor with a lamp that was so bright you could see it for miles. Legend has it that his lamp was magic and if any engine ever found it, their wishes would come true.
|ROSIE - Y4398|
Rosie is a feisty purple engine who came to the island and idolized Thomas and followed him everywhere. This made Thomas feel angry and frustrated... until he fell into a landside and Rosie saved the day. Since then Rosie has calmed down about her obsession with Thomas.
Rusty's orange colour explains her name. This small, brave diesel engine is very self-assured, and is a dedicated worker. She loves adventure as well as all the other engines, and will do anything to make their lives easier. Fearless in nature and determined, Rusty always smiles in the face of adversity. She is a pal for life.

Salty is an old diesel engine who loves working at the docks and telling tales. He is extremely popular with the other trains who love his seadfaring yarns. He's a real character!
Scruff the "Scruncher" Engine works at Whiff's Waste Dump.
Skarloey, the bright red engine, is dedicated to doing his job well and is eager to work. He and his twin Rheneas are the two oldest trains on the Island of Sodor, with fascinating tales of bygone times.
Smudger was a show off engine who rode roughly and often came off the rails. He used to work with Duke, but he caused so many accidents with his reckless behavior that the manager decided to put him out of commission! He now serves as a generator behind the engine shed.

Spencer is just about the shiniest, sleekest engine the Island of Sodor has ever seen. A striking silver express engine, Spencer was brought to the Island as the private engine of the visiting Duke and Duchess.
Dodge and his twin Splatter are Diesel 10's silly sidekicks. They plot and scheme, but are not really quite as tough as they would like to think they are. Diesel 10 collectively refers to them as "Splodge" claiming that saying both their names takes too long.

Stafford is an electric engine who runs on batteries instead of coal. He is very helpful and has a great sense of humour. Stafford can connect to other Wooden Railway engines and vehicles with magnet connectors. Perfect for Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway train sets!
|STEPHEN - Y4485|
Stephen is one of the earliest engines ever built. Newer engines may be faster and stronger than Stephen, but what he lacks in terms of strength or speed Stephen makes up for with his positive spirit, sense of humour and knowledge. He is featured in the "King of the Railway" movie. Stephen and is royal coaches look magical and regal when they are together. They are royalty for sure.

Victor is the manager of the Sodor Steam Works where he scurries all over the place, finding parts, delivering, collecting and supervising.
